We have a 2025 inductotherm dual track system with two 3 metric ton furnaces with a melt capacity of about four ton/hour.

Four molding stations with automated 16 X 20 and 20 X 24 molding machines, and mold handling systems as well as as larger molds up to 30 X 30.

4 Tons Per Hour
Our melt system was custom built for our facility to align with our other equipment, optimizing all processes to achieve a melt rate of 4 tons per hour.
Advanced Automation
We pioneered an automated scrap metal crane with our new melt system so that with the touch of a button our custom recipe is automatically prepared for the melt system.

Comprehensive Quality Control
At Washburn Iron Works, quality is our top priority. Each ladle of Ductile Iron undergoes ultrasonic testing to confirm nodularity rating. All mechanical testing is performed at a 3rd party laboratory.
